I am MoH for my sister's wedding in June. The shower is next month and I need help with a game. I want to do the one where I ask the groom questions in advance and then she has to answer them at the shower. If she gets them wrong, I need a 'punishment' for her. I have seen people make the bride put a piece of gum or a marshmallow in their mouth for each wrong answer. My sister choked as a child and has a severe fear of this, so that type of thing is out. Does anyone have any other ideas that are embarrassing for her (in a fun way) that don't involve food in her mouth? I played this game at a shower for my friends wedding (I was a bridesmaid and helping host) and there was no punishment or embarrassment with it. As a PP suggested, I'd have the guests get a print out and a few minutes to answer the questions first. ALSO have them guess how many the bride will get right (potential tie breaker). Then go through the answers out loud by having the bride answer first, and you tell her if she's right. Guest with the most correct answers gets a prize. This might take the pressure off the bride too, makes it more of a group thing. If your set on the bride doing something for wrong answers, maybe have her balance books on her head?? Hope that helps.
